Our cellar door is  at 1/13-15 Mt Barker Rd, Hahndorf between the IGA and Otto's bakery.

We are open from 11am until 5pm Sunday to Thursday and later on Fridays and Saturdays, closed Tuesdays.

You can get buses from Adelaide - take the Mt Barker bus 860F, 864, 864F, N864 which both go through Hahndorf. We are between stop 55 and 56

This is an easy drinking German dark lager, quite appropriately known as an Oktoberfest. To keep it true to style, we use only the finest malts from Germany. It's low in bitterness, malty, but not too sweet.

Appearance

Creamy, pale yellow head floating on a slightly hazy, dark golden brew. Just gorgeous!

Aroma

Malt and more malt, the rich malty aroma is complemented by hints of toasted malt.

Flavour

Most people think a dark beer is a heavy beer. The Oktoberfest is anything but. It starts out sweet, moves onto a multi malty dance on the tongue and finishes dry. Low on bitterness and moderate on fizz, it's a beer to be embraced again and again.

Overall impression

A very smooth, full bodied beer
